Today, Founder of the Stop Project 2025 Task Force Jared Huffman joined House Assistant Minority Leader Joe Neguse and leaders from across the Democratic Caucus for a press conference focused on House Democrats’ resolution opposing Project 2025. The lawmakers were joined by DPCC Co-Chair Lauren Underwood, and Reps. Kathy Castor, Lizzie Fletcher, and Chris Deluzio.

Congressman Jared Huffman (CA-02) and Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley (MA-07), co-founders of the Stop Project 2025 Task Force, led their colleagues on a letter to Kevin Roberts, President of the Heritage Foundation, requesting that he come before Congress to discuss Project 2025 and release its undisclosed “180-Day Playbook.”

Today, U.S. Representatives Jared Huffman (CA-02) and Jamie Raskin (MD-08), Co-Chairs of the Congressional Freethought Caucus and Founders of the Stop Project 2025 Task Force, sent a letter to President Joe Biden to call attention to extreme MAGA Republican’s attempts to resurrect a Victorian-era law, the Comstock Act of 1873, to advance their attacks on reproductive health care.

Today, U.S. Representative Jared Huffman (CA-02), founder of the Stop Project 2025 Task Force, along with 15 of his colleagues, sent a letter to the Inspector General of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the Office of Special Counsel, and the Office of Government Ethics decrying FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr for crafting part of Project 2025 in his official capacity as an executive-level employee of the federal government.
